Len would also like to point out that he was forced to compete in the 70+ age category and had they not stacked the field with so many youngsters that he would have fared better in his 80-84 year age category. 🤣😂

A bunch of #7run3 was out at the Bellaire Trolley Run yesterday to put down some great performances!!

Congratulations to Billy Donnelly (3rd AG, and possible PR), Liz Sirmans (PR) and Amy Durand (1st AG and PR) in the timed 5K division. Over in the stroller division the competition for Mansell bragging rights was fierce with Linda Mansell finishing the 5K in 3rd place followed over 2 minutes behind by Jered Mansell!!!!

This weekend was the Seabrook Lucky Trails Marathon and Half Marathon weekend put on by Running Alliance Sport!! This race is a long time favorite of many members of the #7run3!!

On Saturday, Jesse James ran the half marathon in 2:14 and 4th in his age group.

While on Sunday it was Melanie Bell's turn to run the half and she finished in 1:45 and 1st in her age group and 3rd overall female!!

About a year ago @thewoodlandsmarathon for a lot of local runners was one of the last opportunities to race in 2020. That's why it was so great to see runners including those from the #7run3 run and were treated to some great running weather too!!

Here's some of the highlights! In the Marathon:

@w_m_donnelly crushed his marathon PR and earned a BQ finishing in 3:24:40!!

@mayshekrun had a great race finishing strong in 3:16:36

@timn1020 ran a strong 3:36:31!!

Over in the half marathon:

@raaperic finished in 1:30:11 closing fast in the last few miles!!

@dawkinse ran a solid race finishing in 1:39:38!!

@loridomaschk paced a friend to a very evenly paced 1:39:38.

Finally, special shout out to Vikki Nolan (@eatingupthemiles) who entered this race only 4 weeks removed from her amazing 100k finish. Feeling a little banged up with 9 miles to go she pulled over to the side calling it a day only after laying down 17 perfectly paced and in control miles. There is nothing "bad ass" about pushing yourself through serious pain. We applaud Vikki's keen judgment and sensibilities. Perhaps it's because she's Canadian? 🇨🇦

We wanted to take a moment to spotlight #7run3 member Tim Nolan, who's creativity in #stravaart over the Holiday's was unmatched. Tim spent hours perfecting each route and whose complex and many turns and out and backs often filled 2 or more sheets of paper. The ladies of #7run3 were on fire last week during the Virtual Bayou Bash Relay!!! The relay consisted of teams of 4 runners where each participant runs 2 miles.

In the Open Women category Team "7run3 RADrabbits" (Maria Sylte, Victoria Nolan, Liz Owen Sirmans, Erika Dawkins) placed 3rd in 53:07!!! (1 second from 2nd place)

Also in the Open Women's category Team "7run3 Batgirls" (Kathleen Ochipa, Linda Truong Mansell, Anna Faber, Sonal H Damani) placed 7th with a time of 1:00:43!!!

In the Masters Women category Team "7run3 Master Oreo Runners" (Sarah Shannon, May Shek, Melanie Bell, Melissa Earl Ledford) placed 3rd in 56:53!!! (7 seconds from 2nd place)

Sure the blossom's weren't exactly cherry but that didn't stop our three racers from competing in the Virtual Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run!!! Congratulations to Anna Faber, Sarah Shannon and Victoria Nolan for finishing the virtual course this morning!!! Anna finished with negative splits in 1:26!!! Sarah finished in 1:16 which if Strava is to be believed is a 10 mile PR split!!! Vikki finished strong in 1:11 cementing her continued comeback!!!

A bunch from the #7run3 traveled up to The Woodlands, Texas to run the The Woodlands Marathon and Half Marathon this morning!

In the marathon congratulations to Victoria Nolan who ran a masterfully paced race finishing in 3:29:15 and earning a Boston Marathon qualifier in the process!

Also in the marathon Lori Domaschk was an official pacer running the entire 26.2 miles in order to help runners reach their goals for the 3:45 pace group!! She finished in 3:43:14!!!

Over in the half marathon Steve Maliszewski took advantage of the cooler weather while we still have it and ran a 1:25:07.

Congratulations to Eric R Raap who ran a 1:28:48 which if our results gnomes are correct is a brand new shiny PR!!!

Rounding out our woodlands five, congrats to Erika Dawkins who ran a very nice negative split race showing some impressive speed at the end finishing in 1:36:18!!

While @wuppypups were hitting the streets for their #13pointwupp run in Houston, Victoria Nolan and Tim Nolan traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to cheer on the U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon 2020 and then run the Publix Atlanta Marathon Half Marathon the next day!!!

Tim paced Meb Keflezighi to a 1:39:58 finish while Vikki took in the sights of the city finishing in 1:48:53!!! Way to go guys!!

The Houston Wellness Project is a great organization that promotes wellness by putting on a free 5K every month at White Oak and George Bush Park.

May finished 2nd overall and 1st female in 20:26!!! Erika finished 2nd female in 27:12!! Melissa finished 30:16 and first in her age group, Eric finished 26:39 and 3rd in his age group and the littlest #batgirl Emma notched another age group win finishing in 30:16!! Way to go runners!!
